Rangers Beat Bruins, 1-0

The Boston Bruins lost a close one to the New York Rangers this afternoon, 1-0.

Rangers goalie Henrik Lundquist turned away all 29 of Boston’s shots, while Tim Thomas had one of the Rangers 23 shots slip by him for what would be the only one scored. Marian Gaborik was the Rangers’ goal scorer, this occurring late in the second period.

Bruins did not score on 5 power plays. It will be good to get Marc Savard and Milan Lucic back to add some punch to the Bruins offense.

The Bruins record is now 6-7. They travel to Detroit to take on the Red Wings on Tuesday, November 3rd. Game on NESN at 7pm EST.
