Chris Braley had a very tough decision to make after his junior year at Nokomis High School. He could stay at Nokomis in Newport, Maine for his senior year. At Nokomis, Braley scored 1,183 points in three years of playing basketball. Or he could attend Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire. At Phillips, Braley would get two more years of eligibility and be able to work on his goal of getting to a top basketball/academic school.
The decision was a tough one for Braley and his family, but the decision that was made was one that can only help the talented basketball player. Braley decided to go play for Coach Jay Tilton at Phillips Exeter Academy.
"It was actually questionable within my family if its what we wanted but over time decided it can do nothing but help," Braley said. "It will boost my recruitment and also allow for me to keep further preparing for college." Click here to read the full story
