Foxcroft baseball roll to another victory

Dover-Foxcroft-  Ryan Rebar pitched six strong innings, Cody Coiley recorded two hits and three RBI as the Foxcroft Ponies defeated the Central Red Devils 7-1 on Friday afternoon.

The Ponies have started the season with a 5-0 recorded. During that stretch they have outscored their opponents 61-8.

Foxcroft scored two runs in the first inning. Kevin Leary and Coiley hit RBI doubles during the inning.  Coiley ripped a triple that scored two more runs during the bottom of the third inning.

Jesse Provost hit a one out double in the 4th inning. He came into score on a single by Nick Strout. Rebar hit a single that scored Strout. The Ponies added another run in the sixth inning.

Rebar gave up one unearned, three walks and five hits. Rebar struck out four. Provost pitched a scoreless seventh inning.

Foxcroft (5-0) will next play on Monday when they travel to Orono.

Willie Bitgood had two hits for the Red Devils. Cody Caruso took the loss, he pitched six innings, gave up ten hits and two walks. Caruso struck out four.

Central (1-2) will next play on Tuesday when they host Dexter.
