Loring hits shot in final seconds to lead Red Riots

Orono, Me--- Tyler Eddy scored 11 points in the second half and Cortland Loring hit a shot with three seconds remaining to lead the Orono Red Riots to a 40-38 victory over the Mattnawcook Lynx.

Eddy helped Orono come back from a 22-17 halftime deficit.  He finished with 18 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. Eddy has scored 49 points to help the Red Riots start the season 2-0. Loring finished with 14 points.

Matt Voisine led Mattanawcook with 13 points and six assists.  Nick L'italien finished with 11 points and five rebounds.

The Red Riots who won only two games last season will try to get their third win of this season when they travel to Bucksport on December 17th.

Mattanawcook (0-2) will play their home opener on Friday, December 16th against Searsport.
