Old Town boys basketball splits

 Old Town, Me--- The Old Town boys basketball team split two games on Saturday. They dropped a close one to Mattanawcook Academy 62-61. Old Town led 36-14 in the first half. The Lynx put up 48 second half points to earn the comeback victory.

Matt Voisine led the Lynx with 21 points and four rebounds. Chase Vicaire finished with 17 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Garrett Libby led the Coyotes with 20 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Cam Archer finished with 15 points, five steals and four assists. Matt Melanson chipped in with 14 points and three assists.

Archer scored 16 points to lead Old Town to a 79-45 victory over Schenck high school of East Millinocket in the final game of the day. The Coyotes had four players including Archer that scored in double figures. Garvey Melmed put in 12 points. Libby and Melanson each put in 10 points and dished out four assists.

Nathan Cram led Schenck with 20 points and five rebounds.
