Plenty left to play for in final week of Zone 1 regular season

Now is not the time to let up for the Zone 1 American Legion teams. Only one week remains in the regular season but plenty is still up in the air.

What is known is that Bangor and Motor City will be the top two seeds when the tournament starts on July 23rd. Those two teams meet on Monday evening at Mansfield stadium. 

If Motor City wins that game they clinch the top seed. If Bangor wins the game on Monday and their season finale at Hampden they will clinch that spot. Motor City also will face Brewer and Calais this week.

Only a half game separates Brewer and Hampden for the number three spot. Brewer will play road games at Northern Lumber and Penquis on Monday and Friday. They will host Motor City on Wednesday.
