Bangor, ME-- Juevenil de Guatemala L.L, from Guatemala City, Guatemala gave their country a reason to party.

Guatemala defeated Lemon Grove L.L., from Lemon Grove, California 6-3 in the Senior League World Championship game on Saturday afternoon at Mansfield Stadium.

Julio Alvarado had two hits including a two run single in a three run third inning. 

"They had a big screen in a famous hotel in Guatemala for people who could not watch it at home,"Alvarado said. "There will be a lot of parties."
