Orono, ME-- The Boston University Terriers softball team scored three unearned runs during the top of the seventh and held off the University of Maine Black Bears to earn a 5-3 victory on Tuesday afternoon.
Jessica Burke and Jennifer Eberhardt had two hits each for the Black Bears. Margaret Hilton hit a two run homer to give the Black Bears a 2-0 lead during the bottom of the second inning. Hilary Kane had the other Maine RBI.
Maine (15-27-1/6-8-1) will finish off their regular season with a three game series at Hartford. They will play a doubleheader on Saturday, May 5th starting at 12 PM. A single game is scheduled for Sunday, March 6th at 12 PM.
